Pea & pancetta pasta
Creamy, delicious and filling - an easy and satisfying meal for the family
Serves: 4
What you need:
- Seeds of Change Organic Tagliatelle
- 8 rashers of pancetta, roughly chopped
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 250g garden peas, fresh or frozen
- 250ml double cream
- 3 tablespoons grated parmesan
- Salt and pepper, to taste
What you do:
- Put water on to boil and cook the tagliatelle according to the pack instructions.
- Whilst the pasta is cooking, fry the pancetta in the olive oil, add the chopped onion and crushed garlic and cook gently.
- When the pancetta is starting to look crispy, add the peas, cream and parmesan, perhaps adding a little water if the sauce is too thick.
- Once the tagliatelle is cooked, drain the water and add the pasta to the pancetta mix.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
