Apple & cinnamon pancakes
Delicious, fruity pancakes served with a big dollop of whipped cream
What you need:
- 1 packet of Aunt Bessie's Frozen Traditional Pancakes
- 4 cooking apples (approx 700g/ 1 1/2lb)
- 50g/2oz butter
- 50g/2oz golden caster sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp groung cinnamon
- 50g/2oz raisins
- Maple syrup
- Whipped cream
What you do:
- Peel, quarter and core the apples then slice thickly.
- Melt 50g/2oz of the butter in a pan, add the apples, sugar and lemon juice.
- Cover the pan and cook gently for about 10 minutes or until the apples are beginning to soften.
- Stir in the cinnamon and raisins.
- Heat the pancakes as directed on the packet.
