Chocolate brownies
Lovely chocolatey gooey brownies - serve them on their own with cups of tea, or with dollops of ice cream to make a delicious dessert
Makes: 12 brownies
What you need:
- 375g unsalted butter
- 375g dark chocolate
- 6 eggs
- 1tbsp vanilla extract
- 500g caster sugar
- 225g plain flour
What you do:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line an average sized roasting tin with baking parchment.
- Melt the butter and chocolate together in a large bowl set above a pan of simmering water.
- Beat the eggs and sugar together in a separate, very large bowl.
- Add the chocolate mixture and fold in the flour.
- Pour into the prepared tin and bake for exactly 25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the tin before cutting into squares.
- Serve with Kelly's Cornish Clotted Cream Ice Cream.
