Many Faces of Potatoes launches new competition!

They want you, the UK’s budding home-cooks, to share with them your or your family’s favourite potato recipes. Whether it’s a secret family recipe, a modern mid-week meal or a unique twist on basic mash, they want to hear from you. All they ask is that your recipe takes under 30 minutes to cook from prep to plate.

From all of the potato dishes uploaded, 13 regional finalists will be selected from across Britain. The finalists’ dishes will then be tasted by a panel of serious foodies – including celebrity chef James Martin – before the winning dish is selected to be part of a national TV ad airing next year. The winner will also receive a family farm stay holiday for four in the beautiful English countryside where the kids can experience a real working country farm; feeding the animals, learning about the land, the local history and delicacies,

What’s more, every week between now and the competition closing date of Friday 14th April, they will give away a designer potato masher to the recipe of the week.

For your chance to win one or both of these exciting prizes, upload and share your dish. Your entry should contain ingredients that are easily found in your store-cupboard and should take between 15 and 30 minutes to cook from prep to plate. Please upload an image of your dish too or even a video of you preparing it if you can.
