Miso marinated fish
Miso is high in protein and essential vitamins and minerals, so this dish is great if you're starting a new year health kick!

What you need:
- 4 cod fillets
- 8 tbsp white (or light brown) miso paste
- 2 tbsp Blue Dragon Mirin
- 2 tbsp Blue Dragon Sake
- 2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tsp corn flour
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- vegetable oil for frying
- 1 jar Blue Dragon Sesame Soy & Spring Onion Yaki Sauce
- 4 shredded spring onions
What you do:
- Wash the fish steaks and coat evenly with the miso paste. Cover in Clingfilm and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours
- Gently remove the miso paste from the fish steaks, using a spatula
- Combine Blue Dragon Mirin, Blue Dragon Sake, pepper, corn flour and 1 tbsp vegetable oil and coat the fish steaks with the mixture
- *CAUTION-HOT OIL* Heat enough oil in a wok for shallow frying
- Fry the fish steaks on both sides until cooked through and nicely browned
- Use a slotted spoon to remove the fish, and place on absorbent kitchen paper to drain off any excess oil
- Heat the Blue Dragon Sesame, Soy & Spring Onion Yaki Sauce in a pan and pour over the fish steaks
- Serve immediately with rice, garnished with shredded spring onions
