Sesame crusted salmon
A delicious salmon fillet with a tasty hint of sesame
- Preparation: 10 mins
- Cooking: 6 mins
- Serves: 6
What you need:
- 6 (175g each) skinless, boneless salmon fillets
- 75ml Heinz Tomato Ketchup
- 2tbsp each soy sauce and lemon juice
- 1tbsp honey
- 1/2tsp finely grated lemon zest
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 3tbsp sesame seeds
What you do:
- Line a baking sheet with non-stick foil.
- Arrange the salmon fillets on the baking sheet.
- Season and put to one side.
- Bring the Heinz Tomato Ketchup, soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, lemon zest and garlic to a boil in a small saucepan; stir occasionally.
- Cool to room temperature.
- Brush half the ketchup mixture over the top of the salmon.
- Grill the salmon for 4-5 minutes.
- Carefully turn the salmon over. Brush with the remaining glaze and grill for a further 4-5 minutes, until cooked.
- Sprinkle the tops of the salmon fillets evenly with sesame seeds and serve.
Cook's tip:
Twist: For a main course, serve the salmon fillets with cooked noodles tossed with sesame oil and steamed green vegetables.
