Asian salmon salad

A healthy, zesty and crispy Asian Salmon salad!

What you need:

  • 4tbsp Heinz Tomato Ketchup
  • 2tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 2tbsp each lime juice and sesame oil
  • 2tbsp brown sugar
  • 300g dark green salad leaves
  • 450g steamed salmon, skin and bones removed
  • 250g each thinly sliced carrot and cucumber
  • 100g sliced radish
  • 3tbsp fresh coriander leaves, leaves removed and finely chopped
  • 1tsp toasted sesame seeds

What you do:

  1. Stir the Heinz Tomato Ketchup with teriyaki sauce, lime juice, sesame oil and brown sugar until well blended.
  2. Put to one side.
  3. Place the salad greens in a large bowl.
  4. Separate the salmon into large chunks.
  5. Add salmon to the bowl along with the carrot, cucumber, coriander leaves and radish.
  6. Toss gently with enough dressing to coat the ingredients.
  7. Add more dressing to taste.
  8. Sprinkle with sesame seeds just before serving.

Cook's tip:

For a chicken variation, substitute 500g sliced grilled chicken for the salmon.
